Honey burns easily in soap — it scorches, darkens, and turns bitter if the batch runs hot. We hold this one below forty degrees the whole way through, which means a slower trace and a longer pour, and the honey comes out the other side still tasting of the forest it came from. Colloidal oats give it a soft, almost powdery slip.
