Repairing bar for cracked, weathered skin
Nothing added for smell, and superfatted to eight percent — meaning roughly a twelfth of the oils are left unsaponified on purpose, sitting on the skin after the rinse. Kokum butter comes from the Western Ghats and is harder than cocoa, which is what keeps a bar this rich from turning to paste in the dish. We send this one to people whose skin has stopped tolerating things.

I had written off bar soap completely. Two months in and the patches on both hands have not come back. I do not know what else to say about it.

Almost buttery in the hand. It does need to dry properly between uses or it softens, but ours has lasted nine weeks.

No fragrance to speak of, nothing that stings. Our paediatrician had no objection, which is more than she said about the last thing we tried.
