Grounding bar, evening ritual
The heaviest bar we make, and the slowest — vetiver root has to be macerated for three weeks before it gives anything up. Sandalwood is farm-grown in Karnataka under the state licence, never wild-cut. Pressed in a brass flower mould that came out of a shuttered soap works in Kanpur, which is why the face carries a petal relief instead of our stamp.

Real sandalwood, and you can tell in the first ten seconds. It lasts longer than any other bar in the range as well, so the price per week is not far off the others.

Bought it on a whim and it took me straight back. Have sent one to each of my brothers.

Hardest bar of the nine. Still a full palm of soap after two months of daily use.
